I was urgently looking for an electrician after my regular one canceled our scheduled appointment. It was a Sunday—my only day off—and with this extreme heat, I couldn’t wait any longer. While at Home Depot, I saw a truck that said “Licensed Electrician” and decided to take a chance. That’s how I met Mr. Reuben—and I’m so glad I did. Mr. Reuben was extremely kind and professional. I told him my lights were tripping, and without hesitation, he came over right away. He quickly fixed the tripped fuse, installed a new light, checked my power outlets, and even went back to Home Depot to get the parts himself. Honestly, what more can you ask for? From start to finish, Mr. Reuben went above and beyond. His service was quick, reliable, and very reasonably priced. I’m truly grateful for his honesty, dedication, and hard work. We needed a 3-prong outlet turned into a 4-prong for a new dryer. Reuben came the same afternoon I called and, in looking at what needed to be done, he discovered issues in our current electrical system that needed to be repaired. Between identifying the issues, doing the work, and running to Home Depot for what was needed, he was here working until after 7pm until the job was done. He was thorough, professional and kind and he followed up quickly with documentation that we needed. Highly recommend!

Reuben was punctual, polite, and a pleasure to work with. ConEd phase issue took out our electric baseboard heaters and Reuben fixed all the issues with thorough explanations at each step. I will definitely use him again. Also, he came in a blizzard in less than an hour! Great guy. We have heat because of him.

Reuben is a dream to work with. I wanted a new light fixture, replacement fixtures, new outlets and moved switches. Reuben did a thorough job quoting the long list with an eye for reducing the overall price. I received his very reasonable quote quickly and once my co-op board approved the list and his COI / insurance, he was able to start the work and take my place from old and tired to fresh and bright. I have all new outlets, switches, lights, smoke detector, thermostat, gfci in the kitchen and bath. Everything I needed is done. I'm very happy with his work and would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Can’t say enough good things. Donaldson installed a new dedicated 240V circuit and outlet for our dryer, as well as all the necessary wiring. Everything was done extremely professionally and works even better than expected. Explore Electric handled the electrical permit without any issues, and the job just passed inspection. I would absolutely use Explore Electric again for any future electrical needs.

I called Explore because I needed a chandelier taken down and replaced with a new one that had to be assembled. I was also considering moving a chandelier into my dining room. Reuben offered to come over and take a look at what was involved and give me an estimate. He was absolutely fantastic! He is not only an expert electrician, but honest, reliable and trustworthy. He told me exactly what was involved and even recommended against going through the effort to add a chandelier to the dining area. He even removed my bedroom chandelier and assembled and installed the new one the same day he called over to check out the job! He's a great guy. He cleaned up and even played with my dog I've never had a better experience and recommend him highly. I couldn't be happier with the job he did and the price he charged was very reasonable.
